I'm helping the campaign for the Tubbataha Reef to be counted as one of the new Seven Wonders of the Natural World.

As of January 27, its current rank is 34 out of hundreds of nominees. By December 31, 2008, the top 21 nominees will most likely be selected for finalist shortlisting before the final voting takes place from 2009 - 2010.

Not only will this help our tourism industry, but also the "reGREENeration" of our country's natural resources.

Live Jesus in our Hearts!

We hear them talk a lot inside the classroom, but don't see how hard they prepare for their lessons every day. We speak of the good and the not-so-good experiences we've had with them, but seldom do we express how much we appreciate them.

As we celebrate Catholic Teachers' Day, this is a good time for us to remember every teacher and mentor who has made a difference in our lives. Or, at least, those that made us smile even for just a second. Send them notes of thanks. Remind them of that one instance when his/her kind word suddenly changed your mood and painted your face happy.

Against Ateneo... 98-92... I think... Animo La Salle!

Around 55 students from the grade school, high school and college spent a night in the 1st year wing of the high school. Dinner, some input from Br. Arian, a lot of chatting, an early morning mass, breakfast and planning of activities leading up to the November camp...

16 or so 4th year students from La Salle Academy in Iligan City. 4 Brothers. 1 Dog. 1 night. Lots of food...

It's cool to be a Brother... in most cases... except when it comes to wearing our holy habit (our robe or soutana) because it's hot in the Brother's robe... maybe this'll help.
